Episcopal Conference of Romania
Bucharest
September 15, 2001
The Catholic faithful from Romania followed with great concern the recent terrorist attacks against symbol-objectives of the United States, causing the death of so many innocent people.
In all our churches prayers were raised to alleviate the wounds and pain of the American people.
On the 14th of September at 10:30 a.m., we have celebrated a solemn Requiem in St. Joseph Cathedral from Bucharest for those who have passed away from this life in these terrible conditions praying for the American people and for the afflicted families, so that, though the belief in God and the salvific power of Our Lord's Cross, they will come through and overcome these painful moments, in the hope of the final triumph of the goodness and justness.
